Mora McCusker is a budding artist
who needed a forum to display and sell her work. Working with Jean
and Al at Headwaters Communications in Gordon, WI they created a
look that represented Mora's style and didn't distract from her
artwork, it enhanced it! Jean and Erin have worked together before,
so Jean's graphic designs were 'ready to go' so Erin could put the
pages together with no rework -- Hey Team! |
A
brochure style web site usually incorporates a home page with several
subsequent pages of pertinent information about the business.
I have created several
sites utilizing the artwork designed by another and have learned
how to ask for the correct file types and resolutions so that I
can pretty much replicate and enhance the pieces the graphics person
has created.
Most
times, I create my own artwork and logos. All the while keeping
in mind the user and how they will be moving through the site. Redundant
navigation, HTML rendered text, high quality-compressed graphics,
and the most important thing —consistency. This approach assists
in creating a site that is easy to move through, is friendly to
search engines while providing extra opportunities for indexing,
loads quickly and is not unfamiliar from page to page. Your customers
will never ask "Where am I?" when visiting a site I create
for you.
